Privacy Notice

Information You Submit

Search entries

A name or location entered in a search box is sent to the outside provider that operates the tool. Boyle County Busted Mugshots does not store or log those search terms on its own systems.

Messages

Information sent by email or a contact form is kept as needed to answer the message. It is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.

Automatic Technical Data

Ordinary server, analytics, and advertising systems may collect:

  • IP address and timestamps;
  • browser name and version;
  • device type and operating system;
  • pages visited and time spent; and
  • the referring page, when supplied.

Cookies

Cookies help measure how visitors use pages and may support advertising. Browser controls can block or remove them, although some site or partner features may then work differently.

How Data Is Used

Collected data may keep pages secure and responsive, route a query to the selected search provider, show which content is useful, diagnose technical faults, and support interest-based advertising.

Links and Outside Services

Links lead to jail rosters, police and sheriff pages, corrections and court portals, news sources, and outside search tools. Once a visitor leaves, the destination's privacy policy controls. Advertising partners may also measure activity across sites on their own systems.

Kentucky government records are administered under laws including the Kentucky Open Records Act, KRS 61.870 through 61.884. Those laws govern public-agency records; they do not replace this site's privacy terms.

Who May Receive Data

Personal information is not sold. It may be processed by search partners handling a query, analytics providers, advertising networks, and a government or law-enforcement body acting under a valid legal order.

Security Practices

Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used. No internet-connected service, transmission method, or storage system can be promised as breach-proof.

Visitors Under Eighteen

The service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under eighteen. A parent or guardian may request deletion if a minor submitted information.

Your Privacy Choices

Subject to applicable law and verification, a person may ask for a copy of personal data held here, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, or an opt-out from certain processing. These requests do not alter records held by Boyle County or another government office.

Changes to This Notice

This notice may be revised as services or legal duties change. The updated wording and effective date will be posted on this page.
